Built on the Subsonic API Navidrome speaks
Playwave talks to Navidrome over its Subsonic-compatible API with token authentication, so your password is never sent in the clear. Covers, favourites, play counts and playlists come straight from the server, and plays are reported back so Navidrome's "recently played" and "most played" stay accurate.

Setting it up
Library › + › Navidrome. Enter your server address, for example https://music.example.com or http://192.168.1.10:4533, then your Navidrome username and password. Playwave checks the connection before saving.
Navidrome questions
Is Playwave an official Navidrome app?
No. Playwave is an independent app that uses Navidrome's Subsonic-compatible API, the same way other Navidrome clients do.
Can I use Navidrome away from home?
Yes, as long as your server is reachable, for example over Tailscale, WireGuard or a reverse proxy with HTTPS.
Does it support multiple Navidrome servers?
Yes. With Pro you can add as many as you like, alongside Jellyfin, Plex or NAS folders, and Playwave merges them into one library.
